Acting Work From Home Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Rehearsals: Participating in rehearsals for upcoming productions, including blocking scenes, learning lines, and developing characterizations under the guidance of directors and acting coaches.
Scene Study: Analyzing scripts and dissecting scenes to understand character motivations, relationships, and objectives. Practicing scene work with scene partners to explore different interpretations and approaches.
Character Development: Researching and developing characters by studying historical context, psychological traits, and physical attributes. Experimenting with vocal techniques, movement exercises, and improvisation to bring characters to life.
Performance Preparation: Preparing for performances by warming up physically and vocally, reviewing blocking and choreography, and mentally preparing to embody characters onstage or on camera.
Feedback and Critique: Receiving feedback and critique from directors, acting coaches, and peers during rehearsals and performances. Using feedback to make adjustments and improvements to performances.
Auditions: Participating in auditions for upcoming productions, both within the internship program and externally. Preparing audition materials such as monologues, scenes, or songs and presenting them to casting directors or producers.
Professional Development: Attending workshops, masterclasses, and seminars to develop acting skills, expand knowledge of theater/film history and theory, and learn about industry practices and standards.
